Okay he had actually never been to Kansas, but still. You know what he means! This place was nothing like the Bahamas for the simple fact that there was pretty much no sun out, EVER. The boy looked around, slightly irritated as he held an umbrella he had (thankfully) brought with him. He head heard it was rainy here and had simply brought it on a whim, but he never guessed he'd be using it the whole time it was here! The boy sighed, wondering why he even came here. Oh yeah, his jack (that ass) had suggested it, saying it would be "smashing" and so far he didn't find anything "smashing" about it.
He'd much rather be at home and sitting under the warm sun. But now he was stuck here, in the airport, as the storm was delaying his flight back. He had gotten some Starbucks to make himself feel better by warming him up, but it wasn't lifting his mood. He sat, stirring the straw in his hot coco before taking a small drink. "This place is a dud," he sighed, seeing some people look in his direction and glare as if he just insulted them. He stared back with a look that said, "fuck yo couch."

Not that she had actually spoken with any of them in, well, years? But she did like the city, sure it wasn’t as green as home. But it was nice, and the architecture was simply to die for. The cathedrals and older buildings were stunning, that’s mostly why she came here. And the eighteen-year old simply couldn’t help but drool over every single ancient-looking building in the great city of London.
She had spent…what? Maybe a week here? She couldn’t count, but she had been staying in a relative’s home that was away, so it was free. But, now she thought she’d go back home for a spell, so her apartment didn’t rot away. Maybe she’d fly back over afterwards. But for now she sat in the airport, the rain delaying all of the flights (she was used to it), tapping away on her laptop. The redhead didn’t really know what she was doing, you could say she was surfing a bit, but she was absorbed in the tiny computer screen. She only looked up when she heard the words, “This place is a dud.” The boy was sitting a few seats away from her, sipping some Starbucks. “You obviously didn’t spend enough time here, Islandboy!” Giggling a little and typing a bit on her laptop, she brought up a picture of the clock with the sun peeking from the clouds. The photo itself was stunning, she thought anyway. “Did you perchance see this?” She turned her computer around so he could see it.
Maybe he’d enjoy the architect too?

The boy blinked twice as someone spoke up to him. He glanced at a red haired girl and watched as she tapped away on a laptop before showing him a picture. "Yeah, I did," he said, eyes glancing up to her face. "I thought it was pretty cool looking." He didn't really understand why people got all hyped up about.. It was a clock, nice to look at, but not something he'd sit there and stare at all day. His eyes went down to his drink, watching the steam rise up for it before speaking again. "But I didn't really come here to stare at stuff, people said London was a wonderful experience!" He let out a small breath, watching the steam scramble as he breathed.
"And so far the experience hasn't been all that great," he added, suffering to the rain pouring outside. It said that the skies would be clear when he looked online. The weather station lied to him! He had tried to make the best of the situation he was given, but the rain always brought him down, so how could he of really enjoyed this trip if it just rained the whole time? Instead of going out he spent night sleeping and mornings tucked away indoors! It wasn't exactly a pleasant experience.
