It was the roar of the crowd that gave me heartache to sing.
IT WAS A LIE WHEN THEY SMILED AND SAID "YOU WON'T FEEL A THING"[/center]
Israel was a neutral country, something she aspired to be so many times in so many wars. Unfortunately, she had a terrible temper (descendant of the vikings, after all) along with a protective streak, and got dragged into wars whenever her neighbors felt it convenient. But Norway was part of E.D.E.N. now, having had enough of the acting neutral bullshit that hadn't done anything for her. She was far too defensive to let something slide into her again, and since Denmark and Sweden found it amusing to ignore her calls, Norway decided to take matters into her own hands. She bought a flight to Tel Aviv and was on the next flight, rushing over to discuss the belligerent Middle East.[/div]
Or, more specifically, Egypt.
As the pink-haired Norwegian stepped off of the plane at Ben Gurion International Airport, the languages assailed her, brutally reminding the woman of how little she knew of others' customs. Hebrew, English, Arabic, and Russian all buffeted her ears at the same time. Being on the plane for hours at a time had done nothing to prepare her for such noise--and the heat, oh heavens! When she left Oslo, it had been 2 degrees but as she draped her scarf around her shoulders, sweat immediately sprang to her temples. It was 23 degrees Celsius here. Panting, fanning herself, Norway leaned against a wall, waiting for Israel to arrive.___________
